Party Face Painting

Face Painting 😃

Kids just love face painting, teenagers and adults too! It is a fun and creative way to brighten up any event. Imaginations run wild and children play out their fantasies to become their favourite character or animal.

It takes around 3-5 minutes to paint a child’s face, depending on the design chosen and each design is unique.

Our artists are super talented, speedy, and have loads of experience to make sure every child has a fantastic face painting experience!

Suitable for ages 3+

How many face painters will I need?

Each face painter can paint an average of 10 -15  children’s faces per hour depending upon the complexity of the designs chosen.

That means one face painter can fit up to 15 children within 1 hour or up to 30 children within a 2-hour party.

For larger events and fun days, we have the option to provide a second face (or third) painter if more children will be attending.

When is the best time to book?

You can book up to a year in advance.

We are sometimes booked quite far in advance, especially for seasonal holidays, bank holiday weekends and larger organised events. But we find it’s normally about a month or two before, for private birthday parties.

Our busiest times are weekends between 12pm and 4pm. These times book up first. However morning times 10 am – 12pm and later afternoon 4pm – 6pm are more likely to be available if it’s a particularly busy weekend or if your event date is only a few weeks away.

How to Remove Face Paint

There is no set time limit for wearing face paint but we don’t recommend children wear any face paint to bed. It can get messy!

  1. Start with warm water and a gentle soap. Baby wash/shampoo is ideal. ( no more tears)
  2. Wet a face cloth, add some gentle soap, and wash the face. Take care around the eyes.
  3. If there’s any residue, apply a little oil. Baby oil or coconut oil are great… but olive oil does the trick just as well.
  4. Rub oil over the stubborn areas and any stains come right off!

If you do get face paint on clothing or bed sheets, please wash them as the label describes.

We do test all of our paints for easy removal and avoid using any brands that stain. We don’t want our clothes stained either!
